Accelleron has future-proofed the way it creates its business reports, using the collaborative platform Workiva to produce its annual report securely and efficiently as an interactive smart web PDF in the desired corporate design.

Technology leader Accelleron aims to help shape industrial digitalisation and create value with advanced products. For its reporting too, the company was seeking an innovative solution that would increase efficiency and fulfil its high standards. The new system was to replace the manual processes and countless revision loops while guaranteeing compliance with the company’s CI/CD guidelines.

Solution

Linkgroup implemented Acceleron’s reporting processes on Workiva’s collaborative platform Wdesk. The innovative system has proved to be a very good solution for the company’s requirements. In particular, it has enabled the entire project team to collaborate on one platform and manage data centrally with a single source of truth. The high level of automation has minimised potential sources of error and redundant processes and boosted efficiency. An up-to-date, CI/CD-compliant report can be generated as a smart web PDF at any time with just one click.

Process

Together, Linkgroup and Accelleron defined milestones for the overall project and optimised all the relevant process steps for Wdesk, from the link to the upstream system to central data storage, the content policy, design and layout through to production. This optimised approach enables all the members of the project team to work together efficiently on one platform. Corrections and changes can be managed directly at any time via Wdesk’s comment function.
