New website: modern, meeting high technical requirements.

Task

Finnova’s job for Linkgroup was an exciting challenge: to make sure the new corporate website excelled in all respects and represented the company comprehensively. A solid foundation was built at the pre-project phase with workshops, qualitative interviews, UX research, visual moods and smart design concepts. This created a basis for elaborating the design, developing the website and further evolving the extranet. The result is an outstanding website. A new information architecture assures clarity and orientation. In both dark and light mode the design provides accents using fresh neon colours. A new logo harmonises perfectly with the website, and the content is optimised in line with the information needs of recipients. The technological basis is Craft CMS with a decoupled front end. Thanks to the headless CMS approach and the use of an authentication module developed specifically for Finnova, existing and future peripheral systems can be easily integrated. With each release, the website is successively expanded to include new features – for example the integration of the HR tool, its own media hub and, in the future, a digitalised product catalogue with direct connection to Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Few projects in recent years have shown so impressively how cooperation and dialogue on equal terms can lead to an all-round successful product.

Finnova is a Swiss banking software specialist based in Lenzburg. Since 1974 the company has been synonymous with innovative banking solutions, all the way from development and operation to advice. Having developing software solutions for the financial industry since 1974, the company completed its Finnova Banking Software standard solution in 2003. Employing more than 400 people in Switzerland, since 2009 Finnova has boasted the biggest share of the Swiss banking software market in terms of the number of banks (around 100 full-service and private banks). Finnova is also a network partner to the 20 or so Swiss cantonal banks.
