Integrated report with maximum process reliability

Holcim

Consistent financial reporting, a sustainability report that meets CSRD requirements and a single collaborative platform bringing it all together: Holcim’s 2025 Integrated Report ticks all the boxes. Building the report on Workiva also made it possible to deliver the multi-layered corporate design efficiently and securely.

From the content and visual structure through to design implementation and production-ready development on the Workiva platform, Linkgroup supported Holcim throughout the journey. The result is an Integrated Report that unites regulatory complexity, collaborative workflows and high-end design in a robust reporting process.

CSRD is driving integrated reporting

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is raising the bar for structure, transparency, data consistency and governance in corporate reporting. Holcim has responded to this development in its 2025 reporting suite: the sustainability statement includes a reference to a CSRD content index and ESRS disclosure requirements, while outlining a multi-year roadmap towards full CSRD compliance. The 2025 Integrated Report not only makes regulatory requirements visible, it also translates them into a clear, navigable and visually coherent reporting structure.

Concept and execution under one roof

Linkgroup’s support was not limited to execution; they were involved from the outset in the concept development stage. The goal was to create a reporting product that incorporated financial and sustainability topics, aligned with CSRD logic and accurately captured Holcim’s brand and design standards. Linkgroup’s presence throughout ensured that strategy, concept, design and technical execution worked in perfect sync.

Multi-layered design realised with Workiva

The main challenge lay in delivering an ambitious, brand-led design on a collaborative reporting platform. Workiva enables structured team collaboration, content integrity across all versions and data-driven workflows. At the same time, achieving a high-calibre report design demands precise visual execution within the platform’s technical and structural parameters. Linkgroup translated Holcim’s multi-layered design system into a Workiva-compatible layout and production setup. The result is a reporting product that leverages all the platform’s benefits without compromising on aesthetic quality, ease of navigation or brand impact.

Collaboration replaces correction loops

The reporting process benefited from a centralised, collaborative approach. Content, approvals and design implementation were all channelled into a single structured workflow. This avoids media disruption and boosts process reliability – especially in complex reporting projects involving multiple teams. Holcim’s 2025 Integrated Report isn't just a publication product; it’s also evidence of a modernised reporting process.

“With our 2025 Integrated Report, we’ve taken a major step towards integrated, collaborative and CSRD-focused corporate reporting. Linkgroup supported us with strong concept and design expertise combined with in-depth knowledge of Workiva – demonstrating how ambitious corporate design can be delivered efficiently and accurately on a collaborative reporting platform.”
