Reporting with impact – beyond the numbers

Sika
Sika annual report 2024

Sika drives innovation at every level, including in reporting. With regular updates to content, design and digital delivery, its reports are constantly evolving – going beyond transparency in figures to offer insights into how Sika thinks and acts. High-quality formats, animated infographics and an integrated product sample make content vivid, accessible and engaging across multiple channels. Since the reporting refresh in 2021, Linkgroup has worked alongside Sika to ensure that its reporting continues to raise the bar.

Wide-ranging and award-winning

Sika applies the same high standards to its corporate communications as it does to its products and services. Its integrated reporting includes annual and sustainability reports, quarterly reports and an online report – plus the Sika Magazine. In 2021, Linkgroup refreshed these formats and has since been responsible for concept, design, digital implementation and part of the content. Every year, Sika and Linkgroup review and update the structure, content strategy and design across all reporting components.

The results speak for themselves: In the Swiss Annual Report Rating, Sika achieved first place in 2025, 2024 and 2022, and third place in 2023. The jury was impressed by the creative concept and cross-media content strategy as well as the clear, credible language.

Smart PDF with web logic

For the first time, the 2024 annual report was published in landscape format as a smart web PDF. This format combines the familiarity of a traditional PDF with the benefits of digital interactivity. The result: a modern layout, improved readability and user-friendliness, and fast navigation through clickable links.

More depth and emotion with moving images

Besides text, photos, charts and infographics, Sika’s multimedia reporting focuses on video to transport success stories emotionally – and convey key messages in a direct, personal and powerful way. In both 2023 and 2024, Linkstudio produced hosted video interviews with CEO Thomas Hasler.

Visual variety for complex content

How do you capture the broad scope of products delivered by a global player with more than 33,000 employees? In the 2023 annual report, the vibrant “Sika is everywhere” visual achieved just that: a digitally animated, interactive illustration that showcased this diversity – including a view beneath the surface. Linkgroup developed the concept, co-created the content and executed the digital solution.

In 2024, the storytelling went even further: Infographics added interesting details to the rich content of the magazine’s success stories, while a macro synthetic fiber sample made Sika’s product world tangible in the truest sense. On the website, the stories were published with animated infographic elements. Linkgroup helped develop the infographics and created the animations.

“For Sika, constantly evolving our reporting – in content, visuals and digital formats – is essential. And with Linkgroup’s creativity, efficiency and broad expertise, we have the perfect partner. From financial reports and magazine stories, to CEO videos and smart web PDFs – their solutions bring the Sika Spirit to life and raise the bar in reporting.”
