Swiss Prime Site makes sustainability transparent

Since its founding in 1999, Swiss Prime Site has established itself as a leading real estate company with a strong commitment to sustainability. To underscore this responsibility, the company decided to produce an ESG booklet that met the highest standards in both content and design. Linkgroup was entrusted with conceiving and realising this attractive print product in close collaboration with Swiss Prime Site.

Making strategy visible

The concept was guided by Swiss Prime Site’s wish to communicate its wide-ranging sustainability efforts in the most attractive form possible. The resulting product is a declaration of the company’s vision to shape sustainable living spaces – in a way that’s innovative, passionate and value-adding. A design was developed that reflects the corporate identity while presenting Swiss Prime Site in a fresh, contemporary look.

Sustainability with a magazine feel

The project aimed to deliver a sustainability publication that is both visually appealing and rich in content, using a combination of accessible and emotionally engaging design and hard facts. At Swiss Prime Site, the circular economy is approached holistically – from raw material sourcing to use and eventual deconstruction. In the form of a magazine, the company’s objectives and actions are linked and displayed in figures and processes.

Striking the right balance

With its ESG booklet, Swiss Prime Site addresses a broad range of stakeholders. It was therefore important to create a format that would appeal to a diverse audience. Clarity and a variety of design features were prioritised, with a balanced interplay of text and images.

Making complexity accessible

To illustrate the complexity of the topic, the publication relies on clear, easy-to-read visuals. Even broad themes such as strategic direction are presented in a way that is readily understandable. Linkgroup developed all graphics in line with Swiss Prime Site’s corporate identity.

Showing achievements

Figures provide impressive evidence of what has already been achieved – and what is planned – when the goals for sustainability projects are set ambitiously high. Yet on their own, numbers remain dry and abstract. By combining them with carefully chosen visual elements, they gain context, create emotional resonance and foster identification.

Print remains relevant

Swiss Prime Site produced its ESG booklet in both digital and print formats. The print edition was a deliberate choice: in today’s digital age, print stands for lasting value and builds trust. With a validity of one financial year, the booklet strengthens brand identity and anchors Swiss Prime Site in the minds of its stakeholders – an impact as enduring as the company’s sustainability initiatives.

It’s about people

Swiss Prime Site’s sustainability goals are presented attractively in numbers – clear, verifiable and easy to follow. But they are more than bare figures. Every goal is ultimately about people and their future – which is why careful attention was paid to choosing imagery containing emotional components too.

«Linkgroup developed and produced an ESG booklet for Swiss Prime Site that conveys our commitment in a concise, compelling format: visually attractive and backed up by verifiable figures. The content follows a clear, well-designed structure, while the illustrations give it the inviting look and feel of a magazine. Linkgroup was the perfect partner to realise this project with us.»
